The Shed 61, June–July 2015

We prove that the fine art of blowing glass is alive and well in the Monmouth Glass Studio in Auckland's Arch hill in this issue 61 of The Shed. We also show you how to make a tangential toolholder and share Jim Baird's South Taranaki shed full of cars. We build a handy welding trolley and go to THE fixit place, a specialist studio for fixing broken objects in Glen Innes Auckland. Terry Scott shows us how he added real artistry to his woodwork projects with a Dremel tool and showcase Tony Woodroofe's amazing pedal powered vehicles. Stuart Lees builds a coin collecting cabinet and we show you how to build a solid brazier using truck brake drums. There's some magic thanks to a Wellington group that enjoy picking locks and talk to Gordon Pembridge who makes stunning wooden works of art in the shape of bowls. Finally the Wellington Vintage Car Club talk to us about their amazing spare parts collection and club .
