NZV8 174, November 2019

Hybrids are normally about as boring as cars can be, the only thing they’ve got going for them is the fact they’re cheap on gas, but in Issue No. 174 we check out what hybrids should be. Las Vegas based Kiwi Greg Hamilton combined his love of Pontiacs with his years of rally experience and built a four wheel drive Pontiac like no other, and we were lucky enough to nail the feature on it.
If you like your cars a bit tamer, but more finesse, we’ve got the ultimate his and hers Holden Monaro  package along with a stunning drop top Impala and real deal Group A Fox Body Mustang. Matt Keeys’ Chev pickup may not be mint, but that’s part of its appeal, and the fab work is next level, especially for someone on the low side of 25.
Other features include part one of a three part series looking at the next generation of Wild Bunch drivers along with a Ford Falcon-lover’s dream shed.
