Dave Hart wanted a Falcon coupe, just like the ones he enjoyed watching race when he was a kid … but better in every imaginable way. The result of his eight-year build is exactly that. Not only does the car have horsepower levels that were never dreamed of back when XA Falcons ruled Bathurst, but it’s also got the handling to match, plus, it’s all wrapped up in a body where not a single panel remains unmodified. Could this be the ultimate XA? We sure think so.
Of course, there’s more than just the stunning Falcon in this issue, including a tough big-block ’67 Chevelle, an HDT VC Commodore, a twin supercharged V10-powered pickup, and all the carnage from the NZDRA nats.
