New Zealand Classic Car 371, November 2021

After Covid killed the main event in 2020, Targa New Zealand is back in 2021 – hopefully. We have all the entrants, and maps of all the stages – and great news:  the fastest growing category, up 50 percent, is the time trial category for classic cars. Plus the Plymouth Savoy, the car that threw down the space age gauntlet to Detroit in 1960; the last all analogue Ferrari, the 328 and a rare concept car survivor: Pininfarina’s alternative coupe for those who thought the Pagoda Mercedes was too weird. Also on the racing front, a pair of exotic Zakspeed silhouette race cars and,  in Motorsport Flashback, a good omen for Kiwis in the only the second Bathurst in November.
